I've meant to mention it before, but I've been enjoying the nd labs stuff going up on your blog. Lots of great textures mashing together, especially the post Kaos pad stuff. Clever idea with the last one as well, a sort of modular, mix and match aproach to music (although, slight criticism, having no beginning or end does mean it can finish a little abruptly). Actually, the thought processes have been interesting as well, particularly the stuff on binaural beats.

Which is essentially me saying, keep it up!

Ha! I like it.

Thanks for the compliment. I just hope I'm not over-contributing, and discouraging others from contributing... Mostly I've just been trying to catch up theorizing on everything that's happened in the first seven issues.

I love "Oh Yeah, Oh No", I have previously heard it on Last.fm radio. I knew Add N to (X) sounded familiar. Thanks for sharing the music.

Sacred Blue!

I was lookin' at my page, and it was sayin' that it was way back on the 10th of April when I filed a blog about Sleepless 6. Mon Dieu--it's been two months since the last DS!

And here I thought Avatar claimed the book was gettin' back on a regular schedule...

What's the hold-up anyway? Why such delays?

Maybe it's merely me, but I think it hurts the book. It's a big story with lots of leads, and this… Continue

And So On...

Well, kinda' excited today as I picked up a parcel from the post office that contained the Doktor Sleepless #3 Warning Sign variant cover. I had mentioned before how I'd decided to collect 'em, and my totally rockin' LCS procured me all but number three. So yeah, I ended up ordering it through Ebay. The comic itself was cheap (lower than cover price), but the shipping and money order costs racked up a relativel… Continue

Late Night Thoughts On Sleepless #6

OK, so I picked up the new issue earlier today (yeah, I got the Warning Sign variant too, damn it), and read it once over while at work. So here's some initial impressions and what-not about that, so if you haven't read number six yet, then stop reading now or hazard that you may end up knowing more than you'd like before you actually read #6.

Well, first off, it seems several of us had our speculations shown up as false. There was no hoard of robot Johns, there was no Angel Constructs, and the… Continue

What a Racket!

OK, so we all know Avatar has this thing about releasing all these different cover versions of their books. Now, normally I don't fall for this stuff--at least not since I was a younger lad and had to have the different covers of Spiderman's Wedding, but anyways--somehow the collector brain in my head got the best of me recently (it was a kind of damned if you do, damned if you don't thing), and I decided I'd try to procure the Warning Sign variants of Doktor Sleepless (the regular cover… Continue

darke.ning.com n' me

Well, I gotta' say that I'm really diggin' this They Made Frogs Smoke Til They Exploded song that's uploaded to the main page. I know I wrote about it in this thread, but I was a little intoxicated at the time and wanted to clarify: I hadn't heard the song or of the band before yesterday morning, and I really like it. I'm almost scared to find and listen to other Mum songs 'cause I might be disappointe… Continue
